New Recipe! Tartare of Smoked Salmon With Catch of Norway Cold Smoked Salmon - Serves 4-6
Ingredients:
-250 grams Catch of Norway Cold Smoked Salmon Pack (100 gram or 200 grams packs available) *Fresh or frozen Norwegian Salmon Skinless Portions or Loins can be used instead of smoked salmon.
-1 large Shallot, finely diced
-1x large fresh tomato, seeds removed, and diced
-2 Tablespoons Capers, rinsed to remove the saltiness and then finely chopped
-3 Tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
-0.5 Teaspoon Sea Salt
-0.5 Teaspoon of ground peppercorns (tip: green peppercorns are great for this dish. Black peppercorn is ok)
-Lime Juice from half a large fresh lime
-Fresh Baguette, cut in to small 4 CM slices
Instructions:
1. Combine all the ingredients from above in a medium or large bowl and toss until mixed
2. Check the salt and pepper tastes and add more if you require.
3. Set aside for 30-40 minutes. Then check the seasoning taste and adjust as you wish.
4. Add a little tiny bit more fresh lime juice. Give it one more toss.
5. Ready to serve in individual bowls or canapés with the tartare placed on top of the Baguette slices.
