Nigiri Sushi Kit for 2 - Norwegian Salmon
Catch of Norway Seafood’s is now offering DIY Sushi Kits for Home Preparation.
Each kit includes:
-150 grams of sushi grade Norwegian Salmon
-150 grams raw sushi rice
-wasabi
-soy sauce
Instructions:
1. Combine Japanese 150 grams of raw sushi rice with 450ml water in a rice cooker. Leave to cook for 25 minutes. Gently mix in 50 ml sushi vinegar in the rice after done cooking. Set aside for 10 minutes to cool off and cover.
*You can use a saucepan on a low flame to cook the rice. Lower the heat just under a boil until the rice is tender and all the water has been absorbed.
2. Once the sushi rice has cooled off, take approximately 25 grams of rice and shape in to a oblong oval ball. Be careful to not pack the ball too tight. Top off the nigiri with a little dash of wasabi.
3. Add a 15 gram slice of raw Catch of Norway Norwegian Salmon on top of the rice balls and serve!
