Black Cod or Sablefish - is a premium fish that is wild caught of the coasts of Alaska and Washington. It is very high in protein, omega 3 fatty acids; comparable with Atlantic Salmon. It has a very smooth buttery flavor, thick flakes, and versatile for baking, pan-frying, and roasting in the oven. Classic preparations include with miso marinade or miso paste or simply pan roasted or pan fried with lemon, butter, and garlic.
